Guess the Player (“the App”, “we”, “us”) is a mobile application that provides daily football challenges where users guess professional football players based on images and clues. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how it is used, and your rights as a user.

2.1 Information You Provide

The App does not require you to create an account, provide an email, or enter any personal information.

You may choose to:

• Enable Game Center (optional Apple feature)
• Share scores or achievements through your device’s share sheet (optional)

We do not store any personally identifiable information.

2.2 Automatically Collected Information

The App may collect anonymous usage data to improve performance and gameplay experience, such as:

• Device type and OS version
• App version
• Crash reports
• General usage patterns (for example which challenges are played)

This information cannot identify you personally.

We may use:

• Apple App Analytics
• Anonymous in-app analytics (if enabled)
• Crash reporting services (for example Apple’s built-in crash reports)

No advertising identifiers (IDFA) are collected.

3. Image Handling

The App displays:

• AI-generated images related to the quiz
• Player-related images stored securely in a cloud storage bucket
• Team celebration images (bronze, silver, gold, normal)

You never upload any personal images. Images shown in the app do not relate to you as a person and contain no user data.

4. How We Use Data

We use anonymous data solely to:

• Improve app functionality
• Fix errors or crashes
• Enhance gameplay difficulty and challenge rotation
• Generate aggregated statistics about usage patterns

We never:

• Sell data
• Rent data
• Share personally identifiable data
• Track you across apps or websites

5. Data Storage & Security

The App uses secure cloud services (such as AWS DynamoDB and S3) to store:

• Challenge data
• Player data
• Public quiz images

No personal data from users is stored in these databases.

AWS infrastructure provides encrypted storage, access control restrictions, and regional hosting (for example EU-North-1) to support strong data protection practices.

6. Children’s Privacy

The App is safe for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). If you believe we have collected personal information from a child, please contact us and we will remove it promptly.

7. Third-Party Services

The App may use the following third-party services:

• Apple App Store (for downloads and payments)
• Apple Game Center (optional)
• AWS (Amazon Web Services) for cloud content
• OpenAI image generation API (for automatic challenge images)

These services have their own privacy policies. We do not control or share personal data with them beyond what is required for basic operation of the App.

You have the right to:

• Request information about anonymous data collected
• Request deletion of any identifiable information (if any exists)
• Opt out of analytics by disabling “Share iPhone Analytics” in iOS settings

Because we do not store personal data, most of these rights apply automatically.
